This was a poster for a show featuring mostly acoustic singer-songwriters at Freddy's Bar. I sourced a public domain illustration of a nude woman playing acoustic guitar as a representation of the kinds confessional, "bare it all" performers booked on the bill. Most of the text revolves around this centerpiece image. I used a calligraphic font as well as a wood-cut font to reflect a kind of old-fashioned, intimate vibe.

Commissioned for one installment of a DIY variety show series in Brooklyn. In order to hit the right note for the nature of this event, I blended the punk-zine aesthetic with a bit of net art and pop culture references.
This poster for an upcoming show is the most recent poster I've done. I looked up examples "Winter Wonderland" prom posters, took some of what was ubiquitous among these posters (handwritten script for the title, and snowflake illustrations all around), and punkified it. I also like how the font I used for the band names looks pun rock, but also like they could be written in snow. The final touch I added to the poster were illustrations I drew of a skull, and a rat with a scarf on.

This poster was designed for an anti-Valentine's day blow-out/the Mars Ray music video release show in West Philadelphia. I liked the idea of using the very recognizable valentine's candy hearts as title cards for each performer, and the outcome was pretty cute. I also used loopy calligraphic fonts to harken back to the idea of a love letter. Overall I think the poster was a success, as it was put up all over West Philadelphia and got many people out to the show.

This is my favorite from a series of posters I created for an all-female artist tour. The tour posters were Barbie themed, with a humorous twist: all the Barbies were less than pristine, either grungy or messy or edgy, taking the feminine icon and subverting it.
Bitchfest! Was a concert series and collaboration between me and Lavender Malin featuring women and femme-identifying DIY musicians in Brooklyn, New York. Each show was dedicated to a different goddess, and in addition to music, we included a variety of other artists in our community such as painters, poets, dancers, and tarot readers.

With these posters I aimed to visually convey the spirit of Bitchfest! by featuring that edition's goddess in a maximalist punk rock aesthetic.
